Family
Dr. Santosh Padala was a dear son of Dr. Ashok and Anuradha; Cherished brother of Arun and Sandeep. Beloved husband of Divya; Devoted father of daughters Ariana and Amyra.
Hobbies
Santosh loved watching cricket/sports and movies. He used to play video games when time permitted before having kids. After kids, his hobbies included teaching the girls cardiology, and playing with them in any way he can.
He started enjoying learning about stocks and investments.
Santosh loved cars, especially Tesla, and spoke of getting the newest model when given a chance.
Lastly, having a good time with family and friends over a beer and dinner were among his favorite past times.
Career
Dr. Santosh Padala went to Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in India (‘07). He did Internal Medicine Residency (’09-’12) at UConn, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Albany Medical Center (’12-’15). He then specialized in Electrophysiology (’15 to ’17) at VCU and continued his journey post fellowship as an attending and an assistant professor. He loved the field of academics and published in many journals. His niche was in left bundle branch pacing (LBBAP), for which he educated other EP doctors internationally as well.
